This means you will get the hang of the process and not get overwhelmed again.  Over the years many clients have told me they repeatedly tried to declutter on their own but that they always ended up getting stuck, distracted or overwhelmed.

The programme treats these common obstacles as decluttering ‘road blocks’ and I’ve included all the familiar ones to help you get moving again and achieve decluttering success.

I want to help you build up your confidence for decluttering, so the programme includes 7 days of email support from me. Just email your questions during your chosen dates and I will give you personalised support.

The 7 Day Declutter SatNav is delivered to you as a PDF document via email. Of course you can keep it and refer to it as many times as you need.

During a home visit I work alongside you on your practical decluttering project.

Before making a start, we agree a plan of action which can be tweaked as we go along. I will ask you lots of questions in order to get an understanding of your relationship with your clutter.  At no point will I tell you what to do. I will however make suggestions. If I suggest something you don't feel good about, then I come up with an alternative. My role is to find what works for you.

This is a very flexible package and will be tailored to suit your needs and preferences. Cost therefore varies. Starting price is £30 per month.

We begin by establishing your decluttering goal or challenge for the duration of the package.

Having established this goal you then have access to my advice via email for when you get stuck. Advice can be limited, or unlimited, during the given period. Alternatively you might want me to check in with you daily, weekly or monthly to check on your progress.

Zoom is a similar platform to Skype – but much better!

Basically the session lasts for one hour and costs £40. During this time you and I would be linked via Zoom and our respective webcams/microphones.

• You have head/emotional clutter that is preventing you from decluttering your home

My talk ‘Life changing decluttering’ is designed to be both thought provoking and inspiring.  The talk was developed for the Women’s Institute in Northamptonshire and I have been on their approved speaker list for a few years now.

The talk is not about how to declutter. In reality most people know they have to remove unwanted items from their home! It’s not always easy though.

I give tips on how to understand your own resistance to decluttering certain items for instance. For example, when your head is saying that something is clutter, but you still just can’t let go. What could be going on there? The more insight you have around your own behaviour the easier it will be to declutter with ease.

Whilst the subject matter is intended to be useful I also ensure there are plenty of laughs along the way!  I use client stories to demonstrate some points and also explain a bit about what brought me to this work.

The talk lasts about an hour which includes time for questions.
